I always have lots of scrap ends of yarn that I’m not sure what to do with. Earlier this week, I looked at my desk at work and decided that it was VERY dull and needed brightening up with a nice coaster for my mug.

This is my “Mexican Sun Mandala”, it is around 8.5cm in diameter and uses 4 different colours of yarn, perfect for using up scraps! :)

To make this you will need a hook, some scrap yarn, a tapestry needle to darn in the ends and some scissors to cut the yarn between “rounds”.
