This pattern for Mexicana shawl with sleeves is a written pattern and photo tutorial.
The size is S/M, but can be adjusted for larger sizes, which is stated in the instructions. It can be made to look like a triangular shawl with sleeves (the white version with fringe) or the sides below the sleeves can be sewn together and the shawl is then converted into a wrap (the colorful version without fringe). Additionally, the pattern includes instructions for both knitted and crocheted sleeves, at your desire.
Some pictures were missing from the first and second versions of this pattern, and have now been added to the newest version.
The “Mexicana” Shawl was made for the 2018 International Crafts Fair in Mexico City. It has sleeves which keep the shawl in place. With its unique look and 3/4 sleeves, this exceptional shawl features a little different look than the ones we are used to. Crocheted in fillet technique, in a pattern similar to those of our grandmother’s tablecloths, it will bring us back to long past times with the sophisticated, retro look.
The shawl is made from yarn with 25% wool and 75% acrylic, so it enables easy maintenance by hand washing in warm water.
