Mia
Meet Mia, a hopelessly romantic hat.
This accessory will be a perfect addition to your wardrobe for the new season! The hat is created in a luxurious Merino/Silk blend in fingering weight yarn with twisted ribbing at the bottom along with a cleaver mesh pattern with cross-stitch embroidery at the top. The embroidery is worked over a mesh pattern section after the hat is knitted.
This is a NEW technique, but no worries - I have an easy to follow 15 min video tutorial Mia: blocking & embroidery on my Alexandra Davidoff Studio YouTube channel. Follow the link!
https://youtu.be/W-ub60JB8rA
In this video I show you how to execute the crown steam blocking, step-by-step cross-stitch embroidery, and final steam blocking. Please note that finishing the Mia hat from blocking to embroidery will take time. I suggest you work in a comfortable setting with good lighting and nice music playing in the background. Happy knitting!
My pattern is 5 pages long, includes written instructions, chats and photo tutorial.
