MIAMI DRESS

Beautiful beaches, distinctive art deco buildings, and pink flamingos on one leg. These are just some of the things that I associate with Florida’s capital, Miami. Miami Dress is equally elegant, slightly over the top, festive, comfortable and colorful - just like the city itself
The Miami Dress is perfect for, for example, a day at the office wearing kicks or for a festive evening in combination with stilettos and high spirits. You choose!
The pattern is available in 7 different sizes and 3 different lengths to fit your measurements and preferations perfectly.

SIZES
The dress is designed in 7 different sizes; from XS to 3XL and with these measurements:

Chest: 85 (91.5) 98 (107) 114 (126) 133 cm.
Fits chest sizes: 76-88 (89-94) 95-102 (103-111) 112-117 (118-129) 130-142 cm.

MATERIALS
• 2.75 mm circular needle (80-100 cm), for picking up sts along the neckline and for the ruffle
• 4.5 mm and 5 mm circular needle, 40-60 and 80-100 cm
• 3.5 mm and 5 mm double pointed needles for sleeves (you can skip these if you are working the sleeves using magic loop on a long circular needle)
• 1 x 3 mm double pointed needle for the I-cord edge
• Stitch markers
• Cable needle for the cable pattern

NUMBER OF SKEINS
For this design I have used 2 strands held together; Cashmere silk from By Emra (400 g/100 m) and Angel from By Permin (210 m/25 g)

You can use any other yarn combination with the same gauge, or even a single strand, but bear in mind that the quality should be lightweight in order not to weigh the dress down too much.

Col. A: 400 (400) 400 (400) 500 (600) 600 Cashmere silk from By Emra in light pink (400 m/100 g)
Col. B: 200 (200) 200 (200) 225 (250) 300 g Angel from By Permin in col. Light Pink/lys pink (210 m/25 g)

Miami Dress is worked with 1 strand of each quality held together. The ruffle is worked using 1 strand of Angel by Permin. I recommend you choose a ruffle colour very close to the colour of the cashmere silk, unless you want the ruffle to stand out even more.
