Michael Gingham Afghan
A Tunisian crochet afghan made with value yarn held double for a great gingham effect using join as you go method for a satisfyingly easy blanket!
Using Caron One Pound Yarn held double, this blanket works up quickly, is easy to care for, and has easy repeats. This is a perfect yarn for making an afghan because you can do a large amount with one skein of yarn. This blanket is very satisfying, making it addicting and motivating to finish.
Available Sizes - One size -70” long and 58” wide after blocking.
Suggested Yarn - Caron One Pound in 2 coordinating colors
Hooks Used: 12mm crochet hook with 4” cord - you might be able to get away with a regular crochet hook if the crochet hook is flat through the handle.
Notions Used: Scissors, Tapestry Needle, Blocking Supplies
