THIS IS NOVEMBER MICHLEMAS DAISY TOMTE, GONK OR GNOME
MEASUREMENTS

The Tomte Gnome is 30cm tall, to the top of hat when sitting.

This is an easy pattern to make & everything is knit flat, as I know most people don’t like knitting in the round

MATERIALS
you will need:
Flesh tone DK – I used Sirdar (25g)
lilac DK – I used Emu baby (60g) MS
Darker Lilac DK – I used Sirdar special (15g) CS
Dark green DK for the calyx
Small amounts of berry colours & brown / beige for acorns
Brown chunky yarn for basket – I used Stylecraft special (50g)
1 tiny pompom from Poundland
30g of washable toy stuffing;
25cm (about 10 in) diameter circle of fabric; I used an old T-shirt
65g approx. of PVC beanbag granules, or, dry rice – I used recycled beanbag filler purchased from eBay
3mm knitting needles
4mm needles
A row counter is useful, but not 100% necessary
