This is a knit-in-the-round hat inspired by Mickey and Minnie Mouse. It is made using worsted weight yarn and incorporates slipped stitches and picking up stitches to add ears without having to sew them on. Kitchener Stitch is also used to make a seamless join at the top of the hat.
I used Lion Brands Vanna’s Choice which makes a very stretchy material. Finished (not stretched) measurements : 15 inches in circumference and 6.5 inches from top to bottom. The band stretches comfortably to about 19 inches. That would be in the 6 month to 2 years old range. The adult size finished (not stretched) measurements: 19 inches in circumference and 7.5 inches from top to bottom. This is would be an adult small size.
