This Mickey Mouse pattern includes seven sizes from 0-3 months through a large adult with ear flaps and braids. The instructions for the ears ensure a more stable ear that stands up and holds its shape.

This hat is made with black, red and yellow yarn. While you can use and worsted weight yarn, I recommend a “stiffer” yarn, such as Loops & Threads impeccable. You could also use Super Saver yarn. I found that some of the other worsted weight brands, such as Red Heart Soft, Vanna’s Choice and Caron Simply Soft just didn’t hold the ear shape nearly as well.

All sizes are completely with an I hook. You will also need a yarn needles, two white buttons and a pair of scissors to complete this project.
