This is a knit-in-the-round hat inspired by Mickey Mouse and Santa. It is made using worsted weight yarn and incorporates slipped stitches and picking up stitches to add ears without having to sew them on.
I used Lion Brands Vanna’s Choice which makes a very stretchy material. Finished (not stretched) measurements : 15 inches in circumference and 13 inches from top to bottom not including the pompom. The band stretches comfortably to about 19 inches. That would be in the 6 month to 2 years old range.
