Micro Christmas Bear
★ SKILL LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE (if you use thick yarn) and ADVANCED (if you use thin yarn)
★ MATERIALS AND TOOLS :
- Yarn: I use thin «Slonim» yarn (cotton+acrylic, 100g ~ 1500m). Colors: beige to crochet a bear; red and a little green, yellow, white to crochet a cap. A floss of 1-2 threads is also suitable; you need a thin thread, as thin as possible.
NOTE: this pattern can also be used for crocheting toys from thicker yarn, so if it is difficult for you to crochet using thin yarn, try to crochet using thicker yarn first.
To embroider the navel on the tummy we need brown thread a little. To decorate the face: brown thread (embroider the nose, mouth, eyebrows), white thread (embroider a semicircle beside the eyes).
- Hook №0.7 (it is extremely difficult to crochet from thin yarn, try different hook numbers, perhaps it will be more convenient for you to crochet using thinner or thicker hook: №0.6-0.9)
- Fiberfill (to stuff)
- Glue eyes (2mm)
- 6.5-7cm one piece of wire (insert into the cap)
- Walnut shell, 8 magnets, some decors (to decorate the shells from the inside), ribbon.
- Needle, safety pins, scissors, glue (Moment Crystal), hot glue (to glue the magnets), thin stick (for the convenience of stuffing small parts).
★ SKILLS REQUIRED:
You must have basic crochet skills (with crocheting micro toys) - this pattern is not so easy so please ask me if you will have some questions/difficulties.
+ I add video lesson “Thread mount (jointing of moving parts)” here - https://youtu.be/htMjNFbk0cY
This pattern is HARD LEVEL but easy to follow with step-by-step instructions (8 pages with detailed instructions and ~40 photos illustrating the process)
