Usual sewing thread is used to crochet these earrings.
The size of the ready Avocado earrings will be approximately 2 cm.

Though these earrings are considered to be micro crochet as they are made with sewing thread and crochet hook 0.4 mm the pattern is suitable for a bigger hook, up to 1 mm hook, In case you change the size of the hook you should also change the thread, take the appropriate yarn or crochet thread for your hook.
