Micro Hedgehog
★ SKILL LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE (if you use thick yarn) and ADVANCED (if you use thin yarn)
★ MATERIALS AND TOOLS :
- Yarn: I use thin «Slonim» yarn (cotton+acrylic, 100g ~ 1500m). Colors: beige for hedgehog; red, white, green to crochet a mushroom. A floss of 1-2 threads is also suitable, you need a thin thread, as thin as possible. For skin (needles) I use Camelot Lineapiu yarn dark brown color (mohair, 100g ~ 1000m), you can use Alize Kid royal mohair or other analogues. To decorate the face: black (embroider the nose, mouth, eyebrows) and white (embroider a semicircle of the white of the eye) thread. And some brown thread to embroider the navel on the tummy. If it is difficult for you to crochet using thin yarn, try to crochet using thicker yarn first!
- Hook №0.7 (it is extremely difficult to crochet from thin yarn, try different hook numbers, perhaps it will be more convenient for you to crochet using thinner or thicker hook: №0.6-0.9)
- Fiberfill (to stuff)
- Glue eyes (2mm)
- Walnut shell, 8 magnets, some decors (to decorate the shells from the inside).
- Needle, safety pins, scissors, glue (Moment Crystal), hot glue (to glue the magnets), thin stick (for the convenience of stuffing small parts).
★ SKILLS REQUIRED:
You must have basic crochet skills (with crocheting micro toys) - this pattern is not so easy so please ask me if you will have some questions/difficulties.
+ I add video lesson “Thread mount (jointing of moving parts)” here - https://youtu.be/htMjNFbk0cY
