Micro Red panda
★ SKILL LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE (if you use thick yarn) and ADVANCED (if you use thin yarn)
★ MATERIALS AND TOOLS :
- Yarn: I use thin «Slonim» yarn (cotton+acrylic, 100g ~ 1500m). Colors: ginger, black and white. A floss of 1-2 threads is also suitable; you need a thin thread, as thin as possible. NOTE: this pattern can also be used for crocheting toys from thicker yarn, so if it is difficult for you to crochet using thin yarn, try to crochet using thicker yarn first. To decorate the toy you need: black thread (embroider the nose and mouth), white thread (embroider a semicircle beside the eyes, eyebrows, paw pads).
- Hook №0.7 (it is extremely difficult to crochet from thin yarn, try different hook numbers, perhaps it will be more convenient for you to crochet using thinner or thicker hook: №0.6-0.9)
- Fiberfill (to stuff)
- Glue eyes (2mm)
- Walnut shell, 8 magnets, some decors (to decorate the shells from the inside), ribbon.
- Needle, thread for sculpting and attaching movable details (black strong sewing thread), safety pins, scissors, glue (Moment Crystal), hot glue (to glue the magnets), thin stick (for the convenience of stuffing small parts).
★ SKILLS REQUIRED:
You must have basic crochet skills (with crocheting micro toys) - this pattern is not so easy so please ask me if you will have some questions/difficulties.
- I add video lesson “Thread mount (jointing of moving parts)” here - https://youtu.be/htMjNFbk0cY
- I add video lesson “Invisible climb to the next row” here - https://youtu.be/CbSnR81cTnM
This pattern is ADVANCED LEVEL but easy to follow with step-by-step instructions (10 pages with detailed instructions and ~65 photos illustrating the process)
