Micro Snowman
★ SKILL LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE (if you use thick yarn) and ADVANCED (if you use thin yarn)
★ MATERIALS AND TOOLS:
- Floss (Gamma, DMC, Madeira, Anchor or others). I used Gamma floss. White color (crochet a snowman using floss in 2 threads). Also blue color for earmuffs and scarf (floss in 1 thread). Black color (to embroider buttons and eyebrows, to make arms) and pink (to embroider cheeks)
- Hook №0.7 (0.7mm, the same hook is used for 1-thread and 2-threads floss)
- Fiberfill (to stuff)
- Cotter pins and joint disks for the head: O-shaped pin (1х12mm – 1pc), disk (3mm – 1pc, instead of a disk, you can use a flat button or even a bead of the same size)
- Glue eyes (2mm)
- Thin strong wire (preferably floral wire, thickness ~0.4-0.45mm, maximum 0.55mm), 1pc 4.5cm long for the arms and 1pc 2.5cm long for the earmuffs
- For the earmuffs inserts you will need 2 half beads with a diameter of 4mm (preferably white or blue, but you can also use regular glue eyes)
- To create the nose you will need a small piece of orange polymer clay and a piece of thin wire (4cm long)
- Needle, safety pins, scissors, instant glue, thin stick (for the convenience of stuffing small parts).
★ SKILLS REQUIRED:
You must have basic crochet skills (with crocheting micro toys) - this pattern is not so easy so please ask me if you will have some questions/difficulties.
+ I added video lessons for you
This pattern is ADVANCED LEVEL but easy to follow with step-by-step instructions (10 pages with detailed instructions)
