Yarn: DK/8ply/Worsted (takes less than two skeins)

Needles: US 4 (3,5 mm) circular needle at least 32 inch (80 cm) long for magic loop method,
US 4 (3,5 mm) DPN needles (optional for thumb knitting) or size to obtain gauge

Gauge: 22 stitches in 4 in (10 cm) in stockinette stitch on US 4 (3,5 mm) needles (designers tension)
