This tutorial incorporates the diamond lace chart from the Diamond Girl Top pattern by Red Heart.

It’s essentially a boat-neck square top. Pretty easy to make, and quite comfortable, perfect for mid/late summer evenings, or hanging out by the waters where there’s a bit of a breeze.

Size made was 35”. Instruction included for easiest way to increase size with the chart used, which is 43.5”.

I used less than a skein of both 340g and 50g Bernat Handicrafter Cotton. A larger size will require more yarn.
