The No Cabling, Cabled Hat!

Middlemist is a faux cabled hat that is beautiful to look at, easy and quick to knit up and warm and comfortable to wear. It makes a fabulous quick gift knit.

Middlemist is beginner friendly, but interesting enough for the more advanced knitter No cable needle needed for this no cabled, cabled hat! Instructions are for worsted and (DK) weight yarns.

Any Worsted or DK yarn will work, but if you’d like to use fingering or bulky, the pattern is easily adjustable.

Need the hat bigger or smaller? It’s simple; the pattern repeat is a multiple of 4. Adjust your stitch count as necessary making sure your total number of stitches is a multiple of 4.

Yarn:
Worsted: 58 g/180 yds of any worsted weight yarn

DK: 54 g/240yds of any DK weight yarn

Gauge :
Worsted Weight: 18 stitches and 24 Rows in both rib and faux cable
