I am more and more in love with the tapestry crochet technique as the time goes by. I created this beanie pattern to match my coat, and honestly, it came out even better than I imagined! If you’ve never tried this technique, this is the P-E-R-F-E-C-T design to give it a go. With only a simple repeat pattern, and two colours, it is super beginner friendly. And if you are intimidated by the colours changes or the tapestry technique in itself, I included a photo tutorial to help you understand. You will master it in no time! I hope you will give this hat pattern a try, and if you do, please let me see your version.

This pattern is using US terms.

What does this pattern contain:

• The instructions for 3 different sizes, all written separately
• Photo tutorials for the Tapestry Crochet technique
• A chart for the motif section, for those who don’t need a written pattern

What are the sizes included:

• Small (17 inches of circumference)
• Medium (19 inches of circumference)
• Large (21 inches of circumference)

What is the difficulty level of this pattern:

• Intermediate. The hat in itself is super easy to make, but the Tapestry Crochet can be a bit tricky.

For this pattern, you will need to know:

• how to chain
• how to slip stitch
• how to make a single crochet
• how to make a double crochet
• how to make a front post double crochet
• how to make a back post double crochet
• how to work in the back loop only
• how to Tapestry Crochet (you will find photo tutorials in the pattern to help you through this technique)
• how to carry your yarn (by working over the colour not in use)

Tuque Midnight

Présentation:

Je suis de plus en plus en amour avec la technique du crochet tapisserie à mesure que j’en fais. J’ai créé cette tuque afin de l’harmoniser à mon manteau. Elle donne encore mieux que je ne m’étais imaginé! Si vous n’avez jamais essayé cette technique, c’est le design P-A-R-F-A-I-T pour débuter. Avec une simple répétition, et ses deux couleurs, c’est génial pour les débutants. Et si les changements de couleur ou la technique tapisserie vous intimident, j’ai inclus un tutoriel photo pour vous aider à comprendre. Vous maîtriserez en un rien de temps! J’espère que vous essayerai mon modèle de tuque, et si tel est le cas, j’espère que vous me montrerai votre version!

Que contient ce patron:

• Les instructions pour 3 tailles différentes, toutes écrites séparément
• Des tutoriels photo pour la technique du Crochet Tapisserie
• Une grille pour la section zigzag, pour ceux qui n’auraient pas besoin d’un patron écrit

Quelles sont les tailles incluses:

• Petit (17 pouces de circonférence) 43 cm
• Moyen (19 pouces de circonférence) 48 cm
• Large (21 pouces de circonférence) 53 cm

Niveau de difficulté du patron:

• Intermédiaire. Le bonnet en soi est assez simple à faire, c’est plutôt la technique du Crochet Tapisserie qui peut être plus complexe.

Pour faire ce patron, vous devez savoir:

• comment faire une maille en l’air
• comment faire une maille coulée
• comment faire une maille serrée
• comment faire une bride
• comment faire une bride en relief avant
• comment faire une bride en relief arrière
• comment travailler dans le brin arrière seulement
• comment faire du Crochet Tapisserie (vous trouverez des tutoriels photo à même le patron pour vous aider avec cette technique)
• comment faire suivre votre laine (en travaillant par dessus la couleur en attente)
