The pattern is written to produce rainbow squares and rectangles joined to form a blanket. Several layouts are suggested in the pattern, but you may have a layout design of your own.

The blanket size is variable and depends on your choice of yarn, hook size and the overall layout. The photograph shows a blanket approximately 32” x 37” when worked with the suggested yarn and hook.

The motifs will have a slight rounded edge individually, but this is absorbed when the pieces are joined together and a border applied.
