About The Design:
We don’t live in an area that gets much snow, but I love snow! This tea cozy will bring the delight of a winter night’s snowfall into your home to enjoy, even if you too don’t get to see snow.
I love to play around with color charts, as color and form have always excited me. I usually design knits in lighter colors, as darker colors can be harder to see while knitting.
The drama, however, that light stitches create, against a dark background, is well worth it, and tea cozies are small projects, which knit up quickly. This drama is enhanced by a third color duplicate stitched on afterward, which makes the snowflakes twinkle! There is also a light color background option.
The pattern offers 2 sizes (for 2-3 cup and 3-4 cup teapots) in 2 colorways.
