Midnight Stars Shawl
Welcome to Stacey Namaste Designs. This shawl is part of my One Skein series. We all buy those lovely skeins without a plan, and I decided I needed to showcase some of that beauty with patterning specifically designed for variegated sock yarn (which can be so tricky)!
This asymmetrical triangle shawl is designed to provide the maker agency, choice, and variation - you can use any yarn, any size, any color scheme. When worn, it does not need to be worn as a shawl - it can be worn as a scarf. This triangle shape is uniquely designed to create a curved neckline that wears beautifully. The photographed example is with Hobbii Unicorn Fingering/Sock yarn, color Amazed (07). This yarn is 75% Merino Wool and 25% Polyamide, and the hank is hand-dyed with gorgeous color interplay. Each skein is 100g, 437 yds. I used needles size US3. It is 34” wide from end to end and about 13” tall at thickest point.
