Sometimes, when the conditions are right, the ocean waves glow bright blue at night. The bioluminescence produces a magical glow against the dark water.

This hat uses 2 colors of fingering weight yarn - about 150 yds (137 m) of a main color and 100 yds (91 m) of a contrast color. I used a US 3 (3.25mm) needle throughout, giving the hat a somewhat relaxed rib. If you prefer snugger ribbing, consider dropping a needle size.
