Midnite the cat is knitted using the Magic loop method, but you can use DPNs if you prefer!
I use Judy’s Magic Cast-on method for several of the parts to avoid having to sew up another place. This can be substituted with the traditional CO and joining in the round. You will need to sew that part closed when completed.
You will use short rows to help shape the cat. If you are able, it is recommended that you pick up the wrap and knit it together with the next st, this will help to prevent any holes. If you are unable to do this, you will just have to add a small st to close the hole.
When your kitty is completed, use a cat/dog brush to groom her. This will give her a “fur” look. The more you brush, the furrier she will be.
I made a nose from polymer clay and used hand-painted glass cabochons for the eyes, but these can be substituted for safety eyes or embroidery!
