There’s something comforting about that simple, go-to hat
you come to love the most. Midwest is Best is that hat for me and marks the beginning of my knitted travelogue. Twisted stitches lead into a textured knit & purl motif that reminds me of the fields of corn that I call home. Knit in one of my favorite yarns, which is dyed by a fellow Midwest girl, the Midwest might not be best for all, but it’s a pretty great place to be.
Pattern offers directions for a slouchy and less slouchy hat.
