The Midwestern Warmth Men’s Cabled Sweater is a classic piece that can be worn for years to come. Pair it with dress slacks for a dressier look, or pair it with jeans for a more casual vibe.

Sizing
The pattern is written in men’s sizes Small (Medium, Large, X-Large, 2X-Large) to fit chest 34-36” (38-40”, 42-44”, 46-48”, 50-52”).

Instructions included for lengthening the sleeves & torso!

Yarn Notes
The sample shown in the photos is Berroco Vintage / 4 / worsted weight yarn (52% Acrylic / 40% Wool / 8% Nylon / 218 yds / 3.5 oz / 200 m / 100 g). Other lighter worsted weight yarns can be substituted as long as gauge is met. A couple others used in testing were Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Tweed and Premier Yarns Everyday Soft Worsted.

Yardage: 1,450 (1,550, 1,750, 2,000, 2,200).

Pattern Notes
The pattern is a written pattern and also includes 3 stitch charts and a photo tutorial where needed.

The sweater is worked from the bottom up with minimal seaming (shoulders only). Sleeves are then worked directly from the armhole openings and worked and shaped down to the cuff. The collar is then added.
