Midwinter Moose Block
This block was created to use with the Martin Storey’s Midwinter blanket. It will work with all other blocks as the dimensions and border are the same - use the same yarn and needles as the rest of your blanket.
If making as a stand-alone block, gauge is not important.
This pattern is worked on the right and wrong side. Knit the front, and purl the back, making sure to read the pattern from the appropriate side.
On Right Side (Knit side, odd numbered) - read chart from left to right,
On Wrong Side (Purl Side, even numbered) - read chart from right to left.
Thank you to Milly Betten (blanket 1 with reversed moose) and Sheryl Roderick (blanket 2 - completed) for the use of their pictures! So happy to see my moose on other peoples blankets!
