There’s nothing quite like handmade socks to brighten your outfit and your day, and these do just the trick. Perfect for double sock sets or scraps of beloved skeins, these socks just fly off the needles and are a perfect introduction to colorwork in the round. The sweet scallops at the cuff and at the toe have short floats (no catching needed!) and give the impact of colorwork without much of the hard work. Knit them in neutrals for a sweet everyday sock, or with pops of crazy colors to put some pep in your step.

These socks are worked in Magic Loop cuff-down with a Dutch heel (or a square heel), a very simple variation on a heel flap and gusset that is a breeze to work and fits like a dream.
