Mighty Maple Leaf
Maple leaves bring bright colors to the fall, making the season more dynamic. If you plan to make your own autumn garland for the home, don’t forget to add this maple leaf motif.

- Red Heart Super Saver yarn was used to make the leaf shown in the pattern’s Step-by-Step guiding images.
Tools:
- Crochet hook: the size depends on the yarn weight; Try to use a smaller size hook than recommended on the yarn label. A 3.5 MM hook was used for making the leaf shown in the Step-by-Step guiding images.
- Yarn needle: any size, as long as the yarn can go through the eye, and the needle can go through stitches
- Stitch markers
- Scissors
The size of the leaf depends on the yarn weight and the crochet hook size. As a reference, with Size 4 Medium yarn (gauge info on yarn label: 5.5 MM/12 SC/15 R) with a 3.5 MM crochet hook,
the size of the leaf is approximately 4 inches across.
