With seed stitch bookends, this cowl is worked in the round and features an overall herringbone pattern using knit and purl stitches. The horizontal v’s created by the stitch pattern is reminiscent of the flocks of birds that migrate south through the northeastern United States in autumn. Designed to make the most of that ultra-special skein of yarn, this cowl can be lengthened or shortened in height and circumference as desired (please note this will affect yardage).
