Migrations
by Laura Nelkin
Migrations is all about traveling beads. Traveling beads that float on yarn overs creating movement and texture. This pattern mixes up the colors in crazy hand dyes to perfection. Play with color, have fun!
This scarf is worked in 2 halves and then grafted together at the middle as the pattern would be backwards on one end if you worked it from start to finish. You being with a simple ribbing that has beads placed in between knit sts for weight and flare at the bottom, then beads are incorporated into the pattern for the first eight inches on each side. The scarf would be WAY too heavy with beads throughout it! Have fun choosing yarn and beads, the sky is the limit….
