This is a lovely stitch and a fun moderately easy project for you to create!

Skill level: Intermediate to moderate

Some simple crochet is required to complete bear legs/ears as well as working up heart lovie

Materials:

dk/light weight yarn for romper
4 medium Weight Yarn (romper and bear buddy) and light fingering weight yarn (heart lovie)

For the Romper I used color (A) Nako Paris in shade 04229 for the buddy bear I used color (B) Sirdar Freya in shade 0860 and a small amount of black for bear features and for heart lovie I used color (c) Patons Lace in color silver

Size 4 mm (US 6) circular needle (16 inch length) or straight or dpns….I prefer circular

Size 4.5mm (US 7) needles (bear)

4 mm crochet hook (chin strap on bonnet)

3.5mm crochet hook (heart lovie)

4.5 mm crochet hook (bear)

Darning needle

4 Stitch Markers

5 buttons of choice

Small amount of stuffing for heart lovie and bear buddy

Small amount of black yarn for bear features
