“Mikazuki” - crescent in Japanese - is a large bicolor crescent shawl and the contrasting half crescents are shaped using short-row technique.
You have two options for the shawl edge – Simple or Decorative Bind off. Enjoy the color contrast!

Needles
3.5 mm / US 4 circular needle; 80 cm / 32” or longer – Adjust cable length to fit sts comfortably.
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Gauge (after blocking)
22 sts and 44 rows = 10 cm / 4” in Garter stitch on 3.5 mm / US 4 needle (lightly stretched at blocking)
Gauge is not crucial, but the difference will affect the yardage and the finished measurements.
