My inspiration for this pattern was two-fold: One was when I learned how to do African flower motifs. And two, when I learned the motif I immediately thought of the scene in Monsters University where Mike and the gang get covered in flowers and stuffed animals (which always makes me chuckle a bit). So this pattern is written for both the original green Mike, and the “flowered” Mike.

IMPORTANT NOTE: I do not explain in the pattern how to do an African flower motif. They are very easy to find tutorials for online, and I explain the parameters for the motifs in the pattern. The pattern is for making the actual Mike plushie toy.

This is a pretty easy-to-follow pattern, and does not contain any fancy stitches. The African flower motifs are equally easy. You should be able to whip this little guy up in a couple hours! Finished measurement is about 12 inches tall.
