A pair of cozy mittens to match “Blee’s Hat”, these mittens knit up fast and are interchangeable, so if one gets lost, it’s easy to make a replacement. If you find that you need to adjust the size, use a heavier gauge of needle and wool for larger mittens, and a smaller gauge and finer wool for smaller mittens. The important thing is that you create a firm, but still flexible, fabric.

The pattern as written at this gauge will fit in the area of a 20cm wrist. To adjust the size, adjust the gauge of your needles and knit to the length needed.

you’ll need:

4mm needle for working in the round (your choice of dpns or circular needles
100g light worsted weight yarn (sample uses Malabrigo Seis Cabos, with 10-15g left over)
1 darning needle for sewing in ends
Scrap piece of yarn or flexible stitch holder
3 stitch markers, 2 of which should be locking “safety pin” style markers.

before knitting this pattern, you should know how to…
