Mila kitten mittens
The mittens are worked in the round from the bottom to top using 5 double pointed needles, followed by knitting the thumb using 4 double pointed needles.
The mittens are designed with cat lovers in mind, with four cats around the wrist on each cuff and a paw print on each thumb.
For all sizes: Begin with needles US 1.5 (2.5 mm) and knit the cuff pattern. Then change to needles US 2 (2.75 mm) and knit the body of the mittens pattern.
The sizes are childrens 10 - 12 years and women’s medium and large. It is easy to change the length of the mittens by adding or skipping one or more repeats of the pattern ( one pattern repeat is 3 rounds) at the body of the mitten chart.
For two pair of mittens (one pair of childrens and one pair of womens) you will need 1 skein of each color.
