A loose mohair sweater in Garter stitch

MATERIALS:
- Merveilleuse yarn by Mamy Factory
(75% kid mohair, 25% silk): 3 (3/4/4/4)
balls in color Beige and 3 (3/4/4/4)
balls in color Rose ballerine (held
together 1 strand of each color)
- 4.5 mm and 5.5 mm knitting needles

GAUGE:
Swatching is essential to obtain a finished piece with desired measurements:

17 sts and 26 rows in Garter stitch using 5.5 mm needles = 10 cm (4 in).

STITCHES USED:

• Garter stitch: knit all rows.
• Wrap and Turn (WT): for neck, we will leave sts on hold every 2nd row as follows: place yarn in front of work, slip next st to right needle, place yarn at back of work again, place back the st to left needle and turn (do not pick up the strand around the stitch as it will be invisible in garter stitch). If this sounds too complicated, you can also bind off those sts instead of leaving them on hold, but you will then have to pick them up for the neck band.
