Mila Sweetpea Dress
The Mila Sweetpea Dress was inspired by my little one, Mila, whom I call “Sweetpea.” It is a great dress for the spring or summer and is adorable in almost any variation of yarn. The dress is worked from the bottom up and includes scalloped edging, eyelet diamonds, a flouncy full skirt, empire waist, belt loops, and a ruffled neckline.
If you plan to use KnitPicks Felici Fingering, you will need #4, #5, & #8 16 inch circular needles and one #5 DPN. You will need 2 skeins for 3-6 and 6-12 months, 3 skeins for 12-18 and 18-24 months, and 4 skeins for 2-3 years
If you plan to use Knit Picks Comfy Fingering, you will need #2, #3, & #7 16 inch circular needles and one #3 DPN. You will need 1 skein of the darker color shown in Lilac (dark purple) and Marlin (dark blue) for all sizes and 2 skeins for 3-6 and 6-12 months, 3 skeins for 12-18 and 18-24 months, and 4 skeins for 2-3 years of the lighter color shown in Lilac Mist (light purple) and Sea Foam (light blue).
The gauge listed is on #5 for Felici and #3 for Comfy.
