Milia Cardigan
The Milia Cardigan is a cropped, oversized jacket that is worked from the bottom up. Captivating are of course the oversized bell sleeves, which lay loosely and fluffy against your skin. It has a straight cut and a little eye-catcher by a row of bobbles on the top of the sleeves.
The mohair yarn makes Milia incredibly soft and super light weight, but still keeps you warm on slightly colder days. She is worked with a larger needle size, resulting in the slightly holey and translucent pattern.
The length of the cardigan can be adjusted according to your wishes if it is a little too short or long for your liking. The pattern also offers the option of knitting small I-Cord ties to the front to be able to tie it together.
The instructions are suitable for advanced beginners. Most of the techniques used are explained to you step by step in pictures. Basic knowledge is nevertheless necessary.
SIZES
1 (2) 3 (4) 5 (6) 7 (8) 9
Fits bust:
- 71 - 76 (81 - 86) 91 - 97 (102 - 107) 112 - 117 (121 - 127) 132 - 137 (142 - 147) 152 - 158 cm |
- 28 - 30 (32 - 34) 36 - 38 (40 - 42) 44 - 46 (48 - 50) 52 - 54 (56 - 58) 60 - 62”
Actual garment size at the bust:
- 45 (50.5) 56 (60) 65 (70) 76 (81) 86.5 cm |
- 18 (20.25) 22.25 (24) 26 (28) 30.5 (32.5) 34.5”
The cardigan has a straight cut and falls loosely due to the oversized shape. A positive ease of 15 - 20 cm | 6 - 8” measured around the bust is intended. But you can make that decision according to your liking!
To find your size, add or subtract your desired ease from your personal chest measurement. Then select the size with the bust measurement that is closest to that.
