Milk and Honey Cardigan
This cardigan is intended to be worn with positive ease, choose a size 5-10” larger then your actual bust measurement.
Finished Measurements
37, 41, 44, 47, 52, 55, 62” around chest
Sample shown is 44” and worn with 8” positive ease.
Materials
1100 (1200, 1300, 1450, 1600, 1750, 1900) yards DK weight yarn
Shown here: Bare Naked Yarns Better Breakfast ‘Milk and Honey’, 65% Merino, 35% Alpaca, 300 yards (274 m)/115g skein.
Needles
US 6/4 mm (circular needles or straight) for body.
US 3/3.25 mm for edgings
Notions required
5 Stitch markers, a spare needle for a stitch holder and the 3-Needle bind off, tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
Gauge
20 stitches x 28 rows= 4” in Stockinette Stitch/Reverse Stockinette stitch on larger needle.
Adjust needle size to obtain gauge.
The Milk and Honey Cardigan is worked in pieces and seamed.
If you wish to modify the cardigan to include button closure please refer to the notes at the beginning of the pattern.
Moveable stitch markers are not noted or required but maybe helpful for keeping track of increases and decreases.
