Milky Cables
This triangular shawl uses #34 from “Norah Gaughan’s Twisted Stitch Sourcebook” (written by Nora Gaughan).
Not only does it have a wide cable pattern that looks like wrapped candy (“MILKY” is the name of a Japanese long time favorite candy), but the way it is worked sideways from one end of to the
other is also unique.
Enjoy the rhythm of the stitch pattern which only requires knits and purls to create the wavy textured pattern.
NOTE : The yarns used in the sample are currently discontinued. So we recommend the following for substitute yarn :
・Hand-dyed fingering yarn (100g/400m)
Hedgehog Fibers Sock Yarn (100g/400m)
Chappy Yarn Merino Sock (100g/400m)
・Silk mohair (50g/400m)
Isager Silk Mohair (25g/212m)
Hedgehog Kidsilk Lace (50g/420m)
Chappy Yarn Silk Mohair (50g/400m)
◎ About this “English Tutorial Pattern”
