The chart can be used to make a variety of projects, from a square or rectangular cushion or pillow cover, to larger items like a shawl, or a blanket, or afghan.

The swatch shown at the top was knit with four repeats of the chart on 3.5mm/US4 needles with approximately 78g/360yds/330m of Jamieson’s Shetland Spindrift in lots of colors.

Techniques include simple lace stitches, multicolored intarsia with 22 colors per row, stranding, trapping and splicing.
