This is a simple hat pattern great for beginners and skilled knitters alike. that can be made more or less slouchy depending on length knit before beginning the crown shaping.

I love the Stonehedge Fiber Mill’s Crazy DK for this because every skein is different, and the colors are so much fun. The mill uses all their bits and ends from each milling to create these unique skeins and limit their amount of waste in production.

Any DK weight will work for this pattern, and if you aren’t using the Crazy DK, you can play around with color combos in stripes and color blocks. Happy knitting!
