Here in rural Aberdeenshire in Northern Scotland the weather is often unpredictable and sometimes a bit wild - a warm sweater is always at hand by the front door to throw on for all those winter walks.
Inspired by Iceland which is only a short leap across the ocean, this sweater was knitted for my daughter to keep her nice and cozy on all our outdoor activities. The colorful yoke is a win with my kids and the nice wide neck makes it easy for them to put on and take off. The back is the same length as the front which means it can be worn either way - a plus for all those independent little dressers!
It’s knitted from the top down with Létt-Lopi yarn (or any other worsted weight yarn) and is a nice quick knit.
