Cowl with repeating eye pattern, knitted in the round

Needles: 4mm 40-60cm circular needles, 3.5mm 40-60cm circular needles (or equivalent double-pointed needles)

Other tools: tapestry needle

Yarn: DK yarn – cowl shown above uses Drops Lima in off-white, medium grey and grey-blue. Less than one 50g ball of each colour was used.

Gauge: 21 stitches and 28 rows to 10cm x 10cm

Adjustments: Cowl can be knitted to desired size by adding or subtracting multiples of 10 rows and 18 stitches. Cowl knitted as shown fits an adult with a head circumference of around 55-60cm. Note that the colourwork makes the cowl less elastic than normal stockinette.
