ABOUT PATTERN
The Milo Hat is worked from the top down with two threads of
cotton held together.
Advanced beginner level skills you’ll practice include double
crochet, increases and working in the round.
Color changes will not be shown in this pattern. The purpose of
this pattern is to let your creativity flow and use your leftover
yarn or make this bucket hat in one solid color.
SIZES
Size S: 54 -57 cm (21.3 - 22 in)
Size M: 58 -61 cm (22.5 - 23.2 in)
Measure your head circumference to determine which size will
fit you the best.
MEASURMENTS
Measurements are indicated on the diagrams, page 4.

YARNS & MATERIALS
Approx. 130 (150) g of Hobbii Friends Coton 8/4 (2 threads held
together)
Hook 4 mm or use hook size to obtain gauge
Tapestry needle
1 removable stitch marker
GAUGE
13 stitches x 10 rows = 10 x 10 cm in double crochet,
hook 4 mm.
Make a swatch to achieve the same gauge as indicated above.
Hook size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches on
10 cm = 4”, change to a larger hook size. If you get too few
stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a smaller hook size.

Slip stitch
Double crochet in the round

Join rounds with slip stitch
Crochet with 2 threads of yarn held together
