When knitting scarves for my friends boys they told me - ‘Make them the same so they don’t fight!’ - THE SAME!? hm….
These two scarves are individual and alike. - Perfectly fight proof!

Each one of this duo works well by itself. …and as a combo they are perfect for siblings and best friends.
Next to each other they show a larger pattern with elements in common and elements setting them apart.

Skill: The design - made from knit stitches and simple intarsia - is easy and quick to knit making it excellent for beginners and equally enjoyable for experienced knitters.

Yardage for each scarf (for both)
A - Red: 160m/ 175 yrds (320m/350yrds)
B - North Sea: 65m/ 70 yrds (130m/140yrds)
C - Orange: 15m/ 16 yrds (30m/32yrds)
D - Turquoise: 70m/ 80 yrds (140m/160yrds)

Gauge - garter stitch 10cm/4”
After blocking: 24sts/ 38 rows

Size: 3-6 years (knit a little longer and it even fits an adult)
Dimensions: 125cm (49”) x 12.5cm (5”)

Time: knitting & finishing ~ 15hours per scarf, or - since this is project is perfectly tv/movie friendly - the equivalent of ’Gangs of New York’, ’Chronicle’, ’some X files’, a few new girl’s & contagion.

Colours: Choosing colours can be challenging. The pattern includes tips and includes an example sheet for combinations.

Pattern Style: Seven pages in pdf format with written instructions for each scarf. A colouring page, colour example sheet and schemas for small previews are included.
