Mimi the baby Monkey
This is a pattern for intermediate level crocheters.
Knowledge in single crochet, decreasing, increasing, sewing, attaching, and imagination.
The doll is made in a few parts it consists in the head and body(one piece) legs and arms are done separately and sewn to the body. instructions are given and links to You Tube videos for clarification.
It consists of 14 pages, like a booklet with instructions and some pictures and charts for a better understanding of it.
instructions given to make: the entire body, bib and pacifier.
Material needed:
• 3.5mm hook
• Scissors
• 100% polyester stuffing
• You can use buttons, or safety eyes( at this time I’m using 10mm black buttons )
• Tapestry/darning needle/yarn needle
• A small piece of white felt (for the back of the eyes)
• 4 buttons to attach the legs and arms to the body
• Stitch markers or as I did use small pieces of yarn
Head and Body:
• Red Heart comfort Beige, tan or skin colour (I bought a big ball of 454gr, 16oz, and 792m. I have made 3 already and still have yarn to make at least 2 more dolls)
• Red Heart comfort or another brand similar to it (if you want the exact size of the monkey) white, pale pink (for the face) darker pink
For the face, mouth, inner ears, bottom of the legs and hands:
• Read Heart pale pink
For the bib:
• Red Heart darker pink
• buttons of your choice (to make it pretty, I used a baby one)
• a very small button to attach to the end of the strap
For the pacifier:
• Red Heart yellow
• small key chain ring
For the ears
• Red Heart beige(skin colour)
For the inner ear
• Red Heart pale pink
