Mimicry
This scarf combines one of my favorite cable patterns with a flanking complementary lace design. The lace design seems to mimic the cable, or is it the other way around? A simple seed stitch border finishes it off and prevents the stockinette in the lace from curling. I’ve loved the idea of using cables and lace in the same design, so I was happy when I was able to figure out how to combine this beautiful cable with a lace that fits so well with it.
It uses 2 skeins of Happy Fuzzy Yarn Merino Mono in Verdigris.
Thanks to Kelly Laux for test knitting!
