This is a a cardigan that I designed for my granddaughter Elsie, she’s coming up to 5yrs. She doesn’t like a sweater but prefers a cardigan to easily put on and take off again. It has a V neck front with buttons.

It comes in a good age range from 2 years through to 7, and is perfect for either boys or girls.

The overall pattern looks very effective but is also quite simple to do. it takes just under 2x100g balls for the smaller size and 2.5 to 3 balls for the larger sizes.
I used Sirdar No1 as this is my personal choice, you could use almost any DK yarn, please check the yardage as they all differ
