Minarets At Midnight
The Minarets At Midnight cowl is part of a series of accessories inspired by Islamic Art, Architecture and Decoration.
The inspiration for Minarets At Midnight comes from the Sheik Lotfollah mosque in Isfahan, Iran, with it’s beautifully decorative tile work. The inspiration was typically drawn from the detail of the domed ceiling, as shown in the image opposite. I’ve incorporated stylised minarets to the design and,of course, a small sprinkling of ‘stars’ to add to the magic.
